About Us
Project: Adam’s Pew came forth through the efforts of Carol Race, Adam Race’s mother, and several other families with children on the autism spectrum. We have supported Adam’s family through the tribulations with their parish community. We see this project as an ultimate goal in giving Adam’s story meaning and purpose.
Each of our families has had our own unique challenges with community accommodations and reactions to our children’s special needs. Through many organizations, we’ve offered support to other parents in various ways and see this project as a continuation of mutual support. We want to make a positive impact by increasing awareness and helping other families return to church.
